Our Sprung Slat Kits Single Row – 53mm are fantastic replacement kits consisting of laminated poplar sprung bed slats and compatible slat holders. Being laminated, these are stronger than the usual poorer quality poplar slats on the market.
This kit is absolutely perfect for replacing the whole of your existing slatted base.
Our kit consists of x13 970mm x 53mm poplar sprung slats, which can be cut to size, and 26 end (single) caps. The 53mm caps are smooth and all have two prongs to fit to your bed frame.
Our sprung slats have a standard thickness of between 8-10mm. The majority of 2ft 6” Small Single beds and 3ft Single beds have 1 row of sprung bed slats, whereas all other sizes above these have 2 rows. Please check our Double Row Sprung Bed Slat Kits listing for sizes 4’0 Small Double and above.
All dimensions can vary by a few mm either way. Please take this into consideration when ordering.
To fit these, we find it is easier if you place you plastic caps in first and then fit your slats into the caps. This should mean that the plastic caps can be easily fitted by clipping/pushing them in.
We advise you to double check your measurements, as all bed manufacturers make their beds to their own specification. We do stock the most common sizes used. Our cutting service means we can meet your size requirements and ensures we are able to replace your broken wooden bed slats.
